Booking Procedure
3 steps to complete your reservation as smoothly as possible
Our clients interested on a bareboat or skippered charter can use our online search tool on the top of the main page of this website,
OR they can email us: your full name, dates or period required, destination or charter base, number of people in your party, or even preferred type/size of the yacht in case you have something specific in mind. Any special request you might have at this stage is helpful.
Easy Sailing will revert with a detailed offer according to the requirements received.
In the Mediterranean the duration of charters is usually 1 entire week or multiples and the usual departure and return day is Saturday.
In the Caribbean departures are any day of the week and duration of charter more flexible. Outside the main season, one-way charters can be possible between different charter bases (on request).
The more information we get, the more appropriate options we will come up with. Email works well for our clients because they can see all info, useful links of boat or base/area and decide at no rush. We answer within hours or the day after. Of course our clients may call us to discuss anything they need. Very often Easy Sailing proposal include more than one available yacht, her equipment, prices and discounts
After receiving an Easy Sailing offer, our clients may very well ask from us to put one or two yachts on hold, giving them the time to discuss things with all the crew-friends and take a final decision. Easy Sailing will put these yachts under “option” for a maximum period of 4 days. If we don’t hear from our clients, the “options” are automatically released. For very last minute requests “options” (holds) on boats can be of a shorter period.
To fix a booking, Easy Sailing should receive it in written, stating the dates, bases, exact price, extras and other special requirements or useful information (if any). To confirm a booking we ask from our clients to send us along a copy of booker’s passport and his/her sailing license and sailing resume (not required for skippered/crewed charters).
A re-confirmation will be then given to our client and the charter code number reference (the main reference number in all our future correspondence). Our clients will be sent the charter party/contract and all necessary payment instructions and charter information. After the first payment is received by Easy Sailing the booking is considered firm and final.
