The rest payment should be paid to EASY SAILING (again by bank draft) 45 days before charter’s departure.
Depending on the policy of the yacht provider/charter company it can be that the cleaning fee and/or Skipper – hostess or other extras, will have to be paid upon embarkation at the base (complete information is given to our clients with booking confirmation).

Payments can equally be done via Easy Sailing SECURE ONLINE PAYMENT in our special web page: https://www.easysailing.gr/payment-form

Personal checks are NOT accepted. Visa & Master credit cards are acceptable (no Amex) for all payments including Deposit Guarantee at the charter base .
NOTE: No charter can commence if full payment is not received.

All the yachts are insured against fire, marine and collision risks, third party liability and against any part or total loss or damage, in excess of the amount of the “security deposit” that all client eave at the departure base. The amount of the damage deposit can vary between the yacht provider / charter company.
The amount for liability to third party is deemed to include cover for loss of life, personal injury or illness, loss or damage to any other vessel or property, Sea pollution Expenses. The amount can vary from country to country and yacht provider/charter company.

The Security Deposit amount is returned to the charterer after the check-out procedure upon the safe redelivery of the boat and at the same condition as on delivery. Should minor damages are made to the yacht during your charter time, the yacht provider / charter company will estimate them and charge our client locally. All damages should be cleared out and signed at the return base by both the skipper and the charter base manger.

In case of there is a disagreement, a full report with all the details should be passed on to Easy Sailing so our company can address the facts to the yacht provider / charter company and assert a fair solution. Easy Sailing is picking reliable yacht providers and issues at the end of the charter are rare. Still it has to be underlined that our clients are not left alone against the yacht providers.

The Security Deposit DOES NOT cover fuel/water consumption, end-cleaning expenses and delay of redelivery of the yacht without prior agreement with us and the charter company. Results of gross negligence are not to be covered by the Security Deposit and may rise legal actions against the author.

Most yacht providers / fleet operators worldwide offer an alternative to the damage deposit that many of our clients find interesting.
Instead of the security (damage) deposit (2,000- 8,000 EUR), there is usually an option of paying a damage waiver (non-refundable) at the range of EUR 350 per week. This will not zero the Security (damage) Deposit but will make it significantly smaller (just EUR 500-600).
Paying a premium actually waives the bigger part of the Security (damage) Deposit and any accident, damage or “bad luck” during sailing holidays has a small or no impact.
Damage waiver and small damage deposit amounts are defined by the yacht provider/ fleet operator for each yacht type.

Final cleaning and other extras of a yacht charter are usually part of a pack (boarding pack, charter pack, etc) , always  a separate fee, if not mandatory, and is set by the yacht providers / charter companies, payable either with charter fees or locally at the charter base.
Whatever the case is, all relevant information is included in Easy Sailing offers and booking confirmations.

The cancelation policy is transparently mentioned in the charter party /charter contract, most times calculated over the the period of time left between the date of cancellation and the departure date.

Different policies are met between charter companies / fleet  operators, while the general and most common policy we have seen is:
– For bookings cancelled 60 or more days prior to departure, 50% cancellation fees apply
– For bookings cancelled 59-16 days prior to departure, 100% cancellation fees apply on the charter price (extras such as skipper, insurance, etc .- excluded)
– For bookings cancelled 15-0 days prior to departure, 100% cancellation fees apply on the charter price (including all extras).

Supplier’s / fleet operators policy might be different to the above and will be explicitly be mentioned in the contract / charter party on booking confirmation time.
