MILOS
Volcanic Milos is the most westerly island of the Cyclades. Klima is a charming, unspoilt fishing village skirting a narrow beach below the settlement of Trypiti. Nearby you will discover Greece’s only Christian catacombs. A sail around the island allows you to visit most of Milos’ stunning beaches (many inaccessible by road), coves and geologically interesting places.
Upon entering the big Milos bay (where Adamas port is situated too) you can’t miss the impressive rocky islets of Akradies. There are also a number of sea caves, such as Papafrangas and Sykia. Day trip boats from Adamas main port go every day to Kleftiko, the SW point of the island, not by coincidence. Again at the S coast close to the E point, the beach Paliochori is nice and protected from N winds and although there is no dock nearby you can stay overnight on the anchor (you can also find tavernas and a good beach bar ashore). Northwest of Milos is the uninhabited islet of Antimilos – nothing special to see there.
